TEXT: Computers and Automation

One of the must greatest advances in modern technology has been the invention of computers. They are already widely used in industries, at universities and they are even at hand of ordinary people. Computers are capable of doing extremely complicated work in all branches of learning. They can solve, can do various tasks. For instance, they can provide information on the best way to prevent traffic accidents. Because they work accurately and at high speeds, they save research worker-s’ years of hard work. The whole process by which machines can be used to work for us is called: automation. Nowadays, automation enables human beings to enjoy more leisure than they did before. The coming of automation certainly has social consequences.
